Import Regions

A group of regions can be imported from one or multiple csv, shape, and tab files. The Import Regions menu item is available in the Object Manager when selecting the Objects node or a group node.

CSV Files
Each csv file must be formatted as shown below. The files may contain additional fields, but only “ID”,“ “X” and “Y” are used in the import. The “ID” is used to identify individual regions. The “ID” field is also used to name the regions.

Shape and Tab Files
Shape and tab files must contain the regions as polygons. To auto name the regions during import the file must contain a field with the name of the region. A promt is shown for each imported file where the name of this field can be entered.
