Animation Camera Settings
The Animation Camera Settings dialog contains settings for the behavior of cameras when used in Animations.
Camera
Move XY Only: When moving along a Movement Path Object only the horizontal position is adjusted. Elevation stays constant.
Align Direction: Aligns the direction of the camera to the tangent of the movement path.
Align Direction XY Only: Aligns the direction of the camera to the tangent of the movement path in the horizontal plane only. The camera tilt (look up or down) can be modified during the animation.
Point Camera Towards Object: The camera will continuously point towards the selected object.
Available Available Objects: Available objects in the current scene. Only single objects like Vertical Cylinder, Simple Objects, Plane, etc can be used. Group based objects like wells and XYZ Points can not be used.
Point to horizontal only: When the camera is pointing towards an object it will adjust the horizontal direction only. The camera may point above or below the object.
Camera Movement
Use Movement Path: Use a Movement Path Object to animate the camera.
Available Movement Paths: Select one of the available movement paths in the scene
Speed Factor: Each of the speed values in the movement path will be multiplied with this value.
Surface
Use Surface: Use a surface to control the camera elevation
Available Surfaces: Available surfaces in the scene. Note this surface does not have to be a terrain surface but may be any surface in the scene.
Height: Height of camera above terrain (below if negative).
