Vertical Plane Object

A vertical plane object is a Plane Object that is always placed in a vertical position. Because it is always vertical it responds to changes in vertical scale of the scene.

General Tab

Name: Object name as seen in the Object Manager
Visible: Show/Hide the object

Plane Begin
X: X coordinate for the beginning of the plane (first vertical edge)
Y: Y coordinate for the beginning of the plane (first vertical edge)

Plane End:
X: X coordinate for the end of the plane (other vertical edge)
Y: Y coordinate for the end of the plane (other vertical edge)

Elevation:
Top: Elevation of the top edge
Bottom: Elevation of the bottom edge

Material Tab

Bitmap Dataset: A bitmap from a Graphic Dataset may be shown on the plane. The bitmap will be stretched to the full extent of the plane.

Properties
Opacity: Degree of opacity. 1=fully opaque, 0=fully transparent (enabled when Blending Mode = Transparency)
Color: The plane background color.
Advanced: Shows the advanced Material Editor

Resample Bitmap to Optimal Size For Better Performance
If this option is checked (recommended) the bitmap is automatically re sampled to a resolution that is optimal for the OpenGL engine. The scaling of the bitmap is not changed. If you cannot allow re sampling of the bitmap this option should not be checked.
