Smart Interpretation Wizard

To start your smart interpretation wizard, you start an edit session on the data you wish to run smart interpretation on, and you get the following dialog. From there you navigate to the Action button > Smart Interpretation > Smart Interpretation Wizard…

That action provides the following Wizard with a welcome information dialog. On the left, you can see the steps you go through to set up a smart interpretation.

First step is setting up Calculation type and mode. For the calculation type, you can choose between no calculated uncertainty and calculate relative uncertainty with the added filter to skip output points above the chosen value. Calculated Relative Uncertainty adds a relative uncertainty to each point.

For calculation mode, you can choose vertical values based on elevations or depths.

When elevation mode is chosen, it relates all points and models to the elevation axis regardless of depths and terrain.

When depth mode is chosen, it relates all points and models to depths that follows the terrain.

This step you set the model parameters, which model you want to run it for, if you wish to run it for clusters seperately and the search radius value from input points to nearest model.

Input grids gives the ability to add extra values in the smart interpretation calculation from selected grids. It extracts values at the model position from the selected grids and adds them to the interpretation as additional information.

Output points allows you to limit the number of output points. You can also skip outputs above and below a chosen grid.

This step allows you to run the calculation only on shown points on the profiles you select in this window. Else it uses all points within your scene extent. Incase profiles doesnt show up or you created a profile during this wizard, then click on the Clear and Update button in the top right.

Progress page: Follow the calculation progress, then close when finished. You can go back and re-run your smart interpretation if needed. Progress log text will remain for each run, unless you clear it or check the Clean on Execute tick.

On all steps you have the ability to delete generated SI points.
