Machine ID and License

The Machine ID and License dialog is used to get a hardware code for the system (Machine ID) and to select a non default location for the license file.

Machine ID
A Machine ID is used by the software vendor to generate a license file for use on the system where GeoScene3D is installed. Each machine has a unique ID and is generated from a combination of system and disk IDs. Note: external hard drives attached via USB alters the machine ID.

License File Location
The default location of the license file is in the directory that contains GeoScene3D.exe. If the license file is not located in the default location the location must be set here.
