Variogram Simulation

Using simulation it is possible to simulate a surface having the properties described by the model variogram. This is a simulation of the variogram – not the data. It can be used to give an intuitive understanding of the parameters going into the variogram model.

Settings
Horizontal Scale (X-Y): Set the scale of the area to simulate.
Randomize: When checked, the simulation is randomized
Color Scale…: Opens the Color Scale Editor
Simulate: Execute a simulation using SGSIM from GSLIB.
Close: Closes the simulation of the variogram

Statistics
Gives the statistic parameter of the simulated surface
