Color scales are imported and/or edited with the color scale editor. Color scales consists of a list of values with a corresponding color.
Color List
The data values and RGB (Red, Green, Blue) values are shown in the list. Values and RGB values may be edited directly in the list. Add, Insert, Delete values with the Add, Delete, Insert buttons. Click the colored column to edit the color.
Data Box
The Data box shows the min and max values of the data that will be colored with the color scale. Use the “Fit To Min/Max” button to stretch the color scale to the min and max data values. Do not use this option for industry standard color scales for resistivity, depth and so on.
Add
Adds a new color node at the end of the list
Delete
Deletes the selected color node
Insert
Inserts a new color node above the selected color node
Flip

Discrete
When checked the colors are not interpolated in between individual values (levels). This option works best for scales that contain relatively few values.
