From the grid operations dialog a series of operations can be performed on the grid. The operation works on the full grid and is not limited by the selected geometry and boundaries.

NOTE: These operations are experimental and can not be undone.

Available for discrete value 3D grids only. This operation assigns the symbol (lithology) from wells to the 3D Grid nodes). The selected wells and the 3D grid should use the same symbol list. The lithology is simple taken from the well closest the grid node.

Wells: Symbol is taken from these wells.
Search Radius: Only wells within this radius are considered
Min. Well Depth: Only wells with a depth larger than this are considered.
Min. Layer Thickness: Only layers (or a stack of identical layers) of this thickness are considered.
Clear First: Clear grid before assigning new symbols
