| | The GeoScene3D Toolbox offers various tools for manipulating data that are commonly used in GeoScene3D. In the current version most tools operate on grid files. |

| | The Toolbox is available from the main file menu or the main toolbar. Although the Toolbox is started from within GeoScene3D the Toolbox can be seen as a stand alone application. In future versions it is indeed planned to make the Toolbox a stand alone application. |

| | It is important to note that the Toolbox operates directly on source files. Changes done to files using the Toolbox will not show in GeoScene3D until the objects using changed data files are refreshed. |

| | The Toolbox user interface contains a list box of items to the left and a map to the right. |

| | Note: Operations performed in the Toolbox never changes the original files listed in the items list box, __ unless __ the user actively chooses to overwrite one of these files. |

| | When selecting one or multiple items in the list box the available operations for that selection are enabled. This means that the user has to know what he wants to do. See the description of each operation. Operations are available in the main menu and the list box context menu. |

| | File items may be added to the list box using an open file dialog. If the Toolbox has been started from within GeoScene3D (always in the current version), it is also possible to add certain items directly from the current GeoScene3D project. |
