Project Settings

The Scene Settings dialog contains various settings for the current scene. For settings concerning the general behavior of the application see General Settings

Scene Extent
The Scene Extent is the extent of the current 3D scene area. Although the extent can be changed form this dialog by pressing the Edit button (Scene Extent Editor) it is in general recommended to move the scene extent using a map.

Vertical Scale
Scaling in X and Y is fixed but the vertical scaling in Z may be changed. The vertical scale may be changed at any time. Most objects respond to changes in vertical scale.

Terrain Model Surface
The surface object selected in this drop down list is used as the terrain reference in the scene. This surface is used to calculate the height of cameras and other objects relative to terrain and to calculate elevation of data when only a depth is known.

Inverse Blanking
Switches normal and inverse Blanking
