====== Project Settings ====== The Scene Settings dialog contains various settings for the current scene. For settings concerning the general behavior of the application see [[:geoscene3d:application:general_settings|]] **Scene Extent ** \\ The Scene Extent is the extent of the current 3D scene area. Although the extent can be changed form this dialog by pressing the Edit button ([[:geoscene3d:application:scene_extent_editor|]]) it is in general recommended to move the scene extent using a [[:geoscene3d:project_content:maps:map_window|map]]. **Vertical Scale ** \\ Scaling in X and Y is fixed but the vertical scaling in Z may be changed. The vertical scale may be changed at any time. Most objects respond to changes in vertical scale. **Terrain Model Surface ** \\ The surface object selected in this drop down list is used as the terrain reference in the scene. This surface is used to calculate the height of cameras and other objects relative to terrain and to calculate elevation of data when only a depth is known. **Inverse Blanking ** \\ Switches normal and inverse [[:geoscene3d:concepts:blanking|]]
