====== Symbol List Editor ====== In the Symbol List Editor the value, code, color, and text can be edited for each symbol. Symbols may be imported from a csv file or a Jupiter Database. Symbols are commonly used for lithology in wells and discrete value 3D grids. Each symbol must have a unique value and code. The value is used in discrete value grids whereas the code is used in wells. Tip: If the first symbol in the list has the value 0 (zero) and the color black this symbol will show invisible in maps, profile windows and 3D grid slices. **Symbol List ** \\ The symbol value, code, color, and text are shown in the list. Symbols may be edited directly in the list. Add, Insert, Delete symbols with the Add, Delete, Insert buttons. Click the colored column to edit the color. **Add ** \\ Adds a new symbol node at the end of the list **Delete ** \\ Deletes the selected symbol node **Insert ** \\ Inserts a new symbol node above the selected color node ==== Import… / Load… ==== **Importing from CSV file: ** \\ CSV files must have the format show here CODE;VALUE;TEXT;RED;GREEN;BLUE; S;0;Sand;255;0;0 C;1;Clay;160;102;80 . . . CODE: Unique lithology ID\\ VALUE: Unique integer value ID\\ TEXT: Lithology description\\ RED: Red RGB color component\\ GREEN: Greeen RGB color component\\ BLUE: Blue RGB color component **Importing from Jupiter Database ** \\ Symbols may be imported from an Access database in [[:geoscene3d:project_content:dataformats:jupiter_database_format|]]. Symbols are imported from the table RCKSYMCO. When importing from a Jupiter database the [[:geoscene3d:application:misc:jupiter_color_factor_dialog|]] is shown. ==== Export… / Save As… ==== The lithology can be exported to a csv file formatted as described above ==== Predefined ==== Select from a list of predefined color scales
