====== Add SEGY file ====== This tutorial describes how to import SEGY files as a profile. Import of *.segy, *.sgy and *.seg format. ==== Requirements ==== The coordinates in the SEGY file MUST be placed in the 'Group X coordinate' and 'Group Y coordinate'. === Data === If data looks like this, you need to copy the coordinates from ‘Source X coordinate’ to ‘Group X Coordinate’ and ‘Source Y Coordinate’ to ‘Group Y coordinate’. {{:geoscene3d:add_geophysics:e045ae36b45ce0874328307d9f4e4fee.png}} ---- ==== Step 1: Open the ’Add Data Wizard’ and select the Segy fil. ==== {{:geoscene3d:add_geophysics:84273f23358bb67a0f2476d9c94fd46a.png}} ==== Step 2: Activate the marker at ‘SEGY data is Big Endian’ (you can make sure the Segy file is Big Endian by looking at the file in e.g. SeiSee). ==== {{:geoscene3d:add_geophysics:890cee37a91f9d60bd1d14c9919b6072.png}}{{:geoscene3d:add_geophysics:068887c1eb30a144fc68fbfde306919d.png}} ==== Step 3: Give the new object a name and select a group node for the object. ==== {{:geoscene3d:add_geophysics:66c9c7d8c965346aa763abe81af3f972.png}} **OBS**: GeoScene3D dos not automatically set the elevation at the profile. This should be done manual.\\ Go to Object Properties for the Segy data and manual set the ‘SEGY Vertical Position’.\\ {{:geoscene3d:add_geophysics:209ed037612b59dce65a94502e951f1e.png}} ==== Result ==== {{:geoscene3d:add_geophysics:4f59e4f573d903b1ccaac59533fac809.png}}
