With the Freeform Object a 3D object file of various types can be imported. The most important file type is 3DS (3D Studio Max). This object makes i possible to use 3D objects from many sources. On the internet it is possible to find just about any object like trees, houses, cars, etc. The Freeform Object uses a Freeform Dataset.
Name: Object name as seen in the Object Manager
Visible: Show/Hide the object
Position: Position of the object in scene coordinates. When a Freeform Object is initially created the object is placed in the lower left corner of the scene at zero elevation.
Rotation: Rotation of the object around all three axes. Note that these axes are the local object axes. When the object is initially placed in the scene the object axes are parallel to the scene axis.
Scale: Scaling varies greatly from file to file. Set scale for individual X, Y, or Z axes or all axes at once using the upper edit box.
Freeform Dataset: The Freeform Object uses a Freeform Dataset.
Opacity: Degree of opacity. 1=fully opaque, 0=fully transparent (enabled when Blending Mode = Transparency)
Color: Color
