====== Add Data Wizard ====== The Add Data Wizard makes it easy to add data and objects to an existing project. The user simply guides the wizard to the data that should be added to the project. The wizard will then set up a dataset and source and add the object to the scene. The data is automatically added to the project. After data has been added the objects, datasets, and sources may be configured manually using the object editors, the Dataset Manager and Source Manager. Note: Not all data and object types are supported in the wizard. __Source Manager:__ Add data from new or existing source, using the source manager.\\ This is convenient when you for example add different geophysical data from same database. ==== Add Data Wizard ==== Open the Add Data Wizard.. {{:geoscene3d:project_content:87c654f01434cc44506a6739a0582da2.png}}or {{:geoscene3d:project_content:c669e986d24d1a9a086a321f669ef0b6.png}} Start Page {{:geoscene3d:project_content:18670ad85ba964b8850c19b6925f8a16.png}} __Local File or Database:__ Add data directly from a local file or database.\\ __Online GeoCloud Data Source:__ Add data from a remote online GeoCloud Service.\\ You must be online to use this option. {{:geoscene3d:project_content:f4cc063169a4e58dae3129e4dd725c7f.png}} If you are using a local file source, please browse through you computer and add it. If it is a .grd og .grd3 file, it is possible to add multiple files at the same time.\\ The open dialog will show a list of all available file formats. After the source has been selected, you may have to specify the format type. Often GeoScene3D will give the correct format, but sometimes you will have to change it, often when working with .csv or .xyz file.\\ {{:geoscene3d:project_content:e0b94b9955c732bd518b4aff0be9e75b.png}} Source Settings. In most cases it is required to define Delimiter and Decimal Separator. GeoScene3D will per default use "." as Delimiter and ";" as Decimal Separator.\\ For different formats, the source settings will look different.\\ \\ {{:geoscene3d:project_content:41c9566c11f4e50982776ae0baa3feb4.png}} From here different files types requires different settings before being visualized in GeoScene 3D. Below you can see the different source types that GeoScene3D supports. ==== Source Types ==== Following sources can be added to GeoScene3D through the Add Data Wizard: [[:geoscene3d:project_content:sources:file_source|]]\\ [[:geoscene3d:project_content:sources:csv_file_source|]]\\ [[:geoscene3d:project_content:sources:access_database_source|]]\\ [[:geoscene3d:project_content:sources:firebird_database_source|]]\\ [[:geoscene3d:project_content:sources:sql_server_source|]]\\ [[:geoscene3d:project_content:sources:oracle_database_source|]]\\ [[:geoscene3d:project_content:sources:geocloud_source:geocloud_source|geocloud_source]]\\ [[:geoscene3d:project_content:sources:odbc_source|]]\\ [[:geoscene3d:project_content:sources:dhi_file_source_dfs|]]\\ [[:geoscene3d:project_content:sources:dhi_file_source_pfs|]]\\ [[:geoscene3d:project_content:dataformats:segy_files|SGEY File Source (segy, sgy, seg)]]\\ [[:geoscene3d:data_formats_and_specifications:lasfilespecifications|LAS File Source (LAS)]]\\ [[:geoscene3d:add_geophysics:geophysics_ascii_geosoftfiles|GeoSoft ASCII File Source (XYZ)]]
